Holy Smokes:Batkid saves San Francisco

  • #21
I remember reading and seeing the batkid story on facebook and twitter. I struggled to remain dry eyed, especially when I saw that so many people had made the effort to turn and fulfil a little boys dream.

I was so moved, I blubbed when I told other people about it as well!

I love reading the update articles posted above and to see that the family now support the charities which helped give Mike his wish.

SAN FRANCISCO —
Once again, Batkid has come to San Francisco’s rescue.
When he was last seen, Batkid was racing around the city in November, battling evil and among other deeds saving the San Francisco Giants’ mascot Lou Seal from Batman's other archrival, "The Penguin."
On Tuesday,Miles Scott, a five-year-old kindergartner and cancer survivor who is currently in remission, was again in San Francisco. Once again, he donned his Batkid outfit,
This time, Batkid tossed out the first pitch at the Giants game much to the delight of the soldout crowd.
It didn’t take long for Batkid’s magic have an impact. Brandon Belt ripped a two-run homer in the bottom of the first to give the Giants a 2-0 lead. more at link: http://www.ktvu.com/news/news/local/batkid-saves-giants-home-opener/nfWC5/
