Hello everyone!
I was just out running an errand and at a red light, intersection, a young woman had a sign saying homeless and pregnant.
I asked her if she was a runaway, she said No ma’m. My grandparents kicked me out, I’m from Georgia.
5’2-5’4 maybe 130 pounds.
Hair color was a darkish blonde. Almost shoulder length.
Eye glasses, brown in color.
17-24 years old.
Wearing a gray coors light hoodie.
I asked her if she was okay at this time and she said yes. (Stupid question, kicking myself)
I asked her if she knew how to contact a woman’s shelter and how to get help if she needed.
She said yes. But a shelter wants to separate her and her fiancé.
After my errand, I drove back by, looking to see if anyone was near her on foot or in an auto, Georgia plates. Nothing that I noticed.
I turned right and we caught each other’s eye. I waved and she smiled nervously.
I feel so bad and worried for her.
The scenarios running through my mind...y’all know.
Need to get cards printed to hand out in these situations. With relevant toll free numbers and services on them.
Prayers.
