According to the Jackson Police Department, 28-year-old Hunter Blake Rogers has been missing since September 5.

Rogers is described as 5’8″, 210 lbs, with blue eyes, brown/red hair, and a beard.

Police say Rogers left Jackson last Thursday night, driving a dark blue 2005 Chevy Silverado Z71 Extended Cab.

According to JPD, investigators believe he may have last been in the area of northern Lauderdale County when his cell phone stopped responding that evening.

Police add that Rogers has a leg injury and may be in medical distress.

Very little info starting out the gate

If you search TN court records (cumbersome as there is no statewide search engine through a .gov site) there is a 28 year old Hunter Rogers with court activity, however further drilling down shows that person, though the same age has a different middle name. I couldn't find anything on the missing Hunter.

According to the Jackson Police Department, sadly missing person Hunter Rogers was found deceased in his vehicle in Lauderdale County.
This is an active investigation and no further information is available at this time.

Hunter’s obituary

Hunter Blake Rogers, age 28, entered his heavenly home on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

Born on December 31, 1995, in Jackson, TN, he was a kind and gentle soul who truly embodied the spirit of generosity, consistently willing to lend a helping hand to others.

Hunter is remembered for the gift of bringing a smile to everyone he met. Anyone could always count on receiving a good laugh from his quick wit and humor. He always gave a big “bear” hug upon greeting people he knew, and a firm handshake to those he just met.

Hunter had a career as a truck driver for Dot Foods in Dyersburg, TN. His work was matched only by passion for the great outdoors. He loved engaging in all outdoor activities, particularly hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers, which brought him immense joy and a sense of freedom. Hunter was a member of Poplar Heights Baptist Church, Jackson.
