Yes, and I think she also worked for Rottlund Homes or lived there (that is where this Kristin "Krissy" worked at the time), Rottlund went belly up in 2011. I wonder if there was some sort of jealousy motive like I had suspected...maybe a younger, more attractive female pushed her over the edge? The details will be interesting tomorrow.
Just a wild guess here (since I have zero ",insider" information): Over the last year or so, the current Iowa governor has stated that, in order to be good stewards of taxpayers' money, efforts would be directed toward uncovering any misuse of funds...specifically of fraudulent activity. The State Auditor has already caught numerous individuals (some who have served -- yes,
past tense -- in positions of financial trust).
Wondering if, in the state government's efforts to uncover fraud, they somehow came across some instance(s) of fraud in real estate transactions?

Again, this is MOO.
What IF (big "if" here), KR
may (don't know anything at this point) have somehow been involved waaaay back (say 14-15 years ago; at that time KR handled many financial transactions in her role as a manager for the now-defunct Rottlund Homes)? If AO came to learn of anything fraudulent during the course of a transaction (during the final closing of a property, for example; AO was an honest person from all accounts), perhaps those involved with any such fraud thought it necessary to...silence AO?
Again, only a wild idea based on the last 12 months or so of various public announcements of fraud having been uncovered throughout the state. MOO.
