Oh no! Why did they wait so long to report Susan's disappearance? Especially where they found her car the next day and she has a disability?

Is this her facebook? If so, there is a lot of current activity on it.

I'm still searching for news stories to see whether she was found.

The Washington Police Department shared the link from May again 2 days ago and somebody commented asking if she was still missing to which the PD replied “yes’. I do not believe that is her facebook page. If you look at a post on July 24, it is of the article about Susan missing and somebody replied saying “i hope she is found soon”.

Is it possible there are two Susan Pachas in Washington, Iowa? The family members associated with the fb page I linked above have not posted anything at all about her being missing. And, that SP has made current comments on family members SM accounts. It’s just really odd. Other than the WPD posts and a couple of news articles early on, I’m not able to find anything.

Sept 2018 article

<<The Washington County Sheriffs office reported today that there is no further information available into the disappearance of a Washington woman who was reported missing on April 30.

Washington County Chief Deputy Shawn Ellingson reported that the investigation is continuing into the disappearance of Susan Marie Pacha. On April 30, the Washington County Sheriffs Office took a report of a missing person identified as Susan Marie Pacha, 51, of rural Washington. Pacha was last seen Monday, April 30, in the morning hours and the vehicle she was driving was located on May 1 at the Iowa River access on Highway 61, north of Wapello, in Louisa County. The Louisa County Sheriffs office confirmed that a river recovery operation was conducted to try to find her and was unsuccessful.

We've had a couple of small tips we have followed up on and were able to determine they were not involved at all, Ellingson said. Pacha's sister-in-law, also named Susan Pacha, said Thursday she feels law enforcement has done all it can to try to find Pacha.

The family would like to thank all of you for your prayers and kind words, she said. Please continue to pray. We are trying to be patient for information. The family is planning to have at least a memorial service in the future. We will notify the public of the date, when known, in the Washington paper.

She said the family wants to keep the public informed, but doesn't know anything new >>

I just posted an article from 2018 that says there is another relative named Susan Pacha
