A Decorah woman was charged Tuesday after police say she delivered a drug-laced lasagna to a pregnant woman with the intent to cause a miscarriage.

36-year-old Amber Snow faces several charges including delivery of a controlled substance, intentionally terminating a human pregnancy without the knowledge and voluntary consent of the pregnant person, aggravated misdemeanor child endangerment for knowingly acting in a manner that created a substantial risk to a child or minor’s physical, mental or emotional health or safety, two counts of administering a harmful substance to an adult, and two counts of administering a harmful substance to a juvenile.

Looking for the reason WHY someone would plan this I came across this:

Law enforcement said they found evidence of internet searches and conversations connected to the crime on Snow's phone as she talked with the person police are calling a co-conspirator.

Court documents show that Snow shares a child with members of the alleged victim's family, and that the child was aware that the lasagna was made to cause harm and had objected to it.

According to the complaints, Snow and a coconspirator, Matthew Ulthoff, made and delivered lasagna to a family in January with whom Snow shares custody of her child.

Criminal complaints state Ulthoff will face the same seven charges as Snow, but he has not yet been arrested and charged.
