Found Safe ID - Ariel, 12, Isabella, 6, & Samson Thompson, 37, Kamiah, Lewis Co., 1 Jul 2019 *endangered*

The Lewis County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's help in locating two endangered children and an adult. The juveniles are: Ariel Lee Thompson 12 years old; and Isabella Joy Thompson 6 years old. It is believed that the girls are with their father Samson Wayne Thompson 37 years old. Samson is believed to be driving a 2016 red Chevy Sonic, Idaho license plate 6C50871. If you see them please contact either the Lewis County Sheriff's Office (208) 937-2447 or 911.

The Lewis County Sheriff's Office tells KLEW News Samson, Ariel and Isabelle Thompson were last seen at 204 Pine Street in Kamiah around 10:30 am Monday morning.

Samson Wayne Thompson is 37-years-old with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighs 200 lbs.

Ariel Lee Thompson is 12-years-old with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 5 foot 2 inches tall and weighs 192 lbs. She has surgical scars on both claves and knees.

Isabelle Joy Thompson is 6-years-old with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She is 4 feet tall and 65 lbs. She has pierced ears and a scar on her forehead between her eyes.

So is everyone involved endangered or just the kiddos? I keep getting mixed opinions from LE vs MSM. Also, no AA because it's not technically an abduction. Why would dad take the two girls but not the son?
Something's definitely off about this but I can't figure out his motive.

Some of the comments on the Lewis County Sheriff's Office Facebook page are making worry for all 3...but if the guy has 3 kids, why would he only take 2 with him now? Hope they can find them soon.

I saw this on our local news FB page in Southern Oregon, but I don’t know if there is reason to think he is headed this way. I hope they are all OK.

A little trivia about how to pronounce Kamiah. It’s KAM-ee-eye. I have a cousin in nearby Kooskia (pronounced KOOS-kee) and have been to Kamiah. It’s very small and the kind of place where everyone knows each other.

Kamiah (KAM-ee-eye) in Lewis County was the winter home of the Nez Perce where they manufactured "Kamia" ropes. Kamiah means the place of "many rope litters."

I honestly have no clue where to even speculate with this case. I really wish they would have done an AA for them because at this point they could be across the country, but unfortunately that's not how the system works.

The Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests are just to the east, so if he’s trying to “disappear” that would be the logical direction. For all three to be in danger I have to assume he’s suicidal. I hope he is found alive or has spared his little girls.

Alright, here's some questions I've thought of:
1. They disappeared @10:30 am on Monday. Does dad work or is he unemployed? Was mom working?
2. Why would dad take the girls only? Was it because the brother wasn't home or is there some other reason? I don't know dad's motive but it worries me that two young girls are with a seemingly mentally ill man.
3. Why aren't LE being more vigilant with awareness? It was on the news for half a day and only in Idaho and eastern Oregon. Do they have info that suggests he would stay in the area, or it's father/daughters and not a stranger?
