The Orofino Police Department is seeking information from the public regarding the location of Candi R. Chandler, 36, of Orofino, Idaho. Candi was reported missing by her father, Keith Chandler, on June 2. Keith informed the Police Department he last spoke to Candi on May 31. Keith indicated Candi and her vehicle were missing and he has been unable to make contact with her.

He also indicated she had not been in contact with any of her minor children since May 31. Keith indicated Candi may be in the company of her ex-boyfriend, Jeremy R. Anderson, 42, of Orofino and he was concerned for her safety.

The Orofino Police Department had responded to a domestic abuse complaint at Candi's residence in Orofino during the early morning hours of May 25, 2022. The investigation determined Candi had allegedly been battered by Jeremy Anderson. Anderson had fled the home prior to the arrival of officers.

Subsequently, a felony arrest warrant was issued for Anderson charging him with domestic battery and being a habitual offender. It was learned Anderson was on probation through Idaho Probation and Parole. An Agent's Warrant was also issued for Anderson with nationwide extradition.

On June 6, with the assistance of the Asotin County Sheriff's Department, Candi's missing vehicle was located at a residence near Clarkston. It was reported Candi had left the vehicle at that residence and may have left in a different vehicle (a white 4-dr but unknown make and model) with Anderson. The Police Department is working to substantiate that information.

If Candi is in the company of Anderson, it is unclear if she is doing so by choice or if she is under duress. The Police Department is considering Candi to be an At-Risk missing person. The investigation is ongoing. If anyone has information about Candi or Anderson, or their location, contact the Orofino Police Department at 208-476-5551 or your local law enforcement agency.

Her face is a lot fuller in more recent pictures and her hair may be darker. Smart Search - iCourt Portal - Online records & payments for the Idaho courts (use Latah County as your search drop down on the website, no fee to look only to pay a fine). This from a 2020 mugshot - her criminal history is extensive and she's been a fugitive before - I hope it's something like this as opposed to harm from someone she knows.

Called both Idaho and Austin, TX about this.

"DO YOU RECOGNIZE THIS COUPLE?

Austin, TX - On May 28th, 2022 at around 2 pm an unidentified woman (pictured), who was bleeding from the head, ran into an apartment complex office at 12200 block of Heatherly Drive and begged the two people inside to lock the door and stated that her boyfriend was coming after her.

Her boyfriend (pictured) then began pounding on the door, making threats, and pointing a gun at his girlfriend and the other two people inside the office. The woman who was bleeding said she would go with him or he might kill all of them, and she then unlocked the door and left with him in a silver SUV.

She is around 5’7” with blondish-brown hair. She was last seen wearing a green sweatshirt, black leggings, and white shoes.

The suspect has tattoos on both arms. He has black hair which is dyed brown and shaved on the sides. He was wearing his hair pulled back into a bun, and he was wearing a black tank top and black jeans at the time of the incident."

Note the similarly placed tattoo by the mans elbow, and her long blonde hair.

Dear God, I see nothing positive from this. This poor woman is out there fighting for her life. IMO. I pray she either gets away or can get a hold of someone to help her. He's very dangerous and most likely will be walking before you know it these days. IMO

Candi has been found safe.

Orofino Police reported that the Grants Pass Police Department found Candi R. Chandler with her ex-boyfriend, Jeremy Anderson, on her own free will.

Both of them are currently in custody by the Grants Pass Police Department. It is not clear what, if any, charges are filed, though a felony arrest warrant was issued for Anderson, charging him with domestic battery and being a habitual offender.
