Found Deceased ID - Gloria Schiffler, 83, Filer, 21 July 2018 *endangered*

The Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office said search crews will meet at 6 p.m. at Pebble Ponds Golf Course to continues their search for 83-year-old Gloria Schiffler who is described as 5-foot-1 tall and wearing pink slippers and black pajamas.

She was last seen a quarter mile from the golf course. Officials are treating it as a missing-endangered person case because of Schiffler's health who suffers from Alzheimer's.

'Where do we need to take a closer look?' Search continues for missing Filer woman with Alzheimer's

More than 200 volunteers from the community have come out to help look for Schiffler. But the sheriff's office has yet to find any leads or narrow down its search, Lt. Daron Brown said.

"Quite frankly, we have searched every place that we can think of that is within the area that she could [travel] and we've used just about every resource," Brown said. "Now we're just to that point where we say, 'Okay, we've done this. Where do we need to do it again? Where do we need to take a closer look?'"

Body of Missing Filer Woman Found

The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office announced at a little after 1:30 p.m that the body of 83-year-old Gloria Schiffler was located in a canal just after 12:30 p.m.
