I wonder what kind of connections Justin Lum has been exploring, which we don't know about? Seems like he should at minimum be trying to figure out who and why the policeman responding to Charles' death, mopped up blood from all over the place. There were some large redacted portions in that officer's report...

No, I think Charles didn't even know who CD was? This can be inferred by the letter he sent Alex.

In it he states, that he has CD wife's email and phone number, and he is going to contact her to get to the bottom of this. I would assume if he had ever met Chad before, he would, at the very least, know who Chad's wife was.

I got the distinct feeling that he had no idea who CD was? He referred to himself with the term "scarlet letter", which is interesting.

That implies that Lori was the one accusing him of cheating, when in reality, she was the one cheating on him. In fact, he goes on to infer that she had convinced most of her family that he was the cheater.

He felt that Alex and BB could relate to his predicament.
