Since The last time I heard from her there had been rumors here and there; just the typical things. “Oh I seen her at this place” “I tried talking to her when I seen her at this place” and just random things like that. I didn’t report my sister missing till a while after 3/19/2020 cause i didn’t want it to be like
The last time I freaked out an reported her missing so I gave it time, I gave it time, I gave more time, and more… till I heard a new rumor that sent me completely reeling into a tailspin of absolute chaos. It was known that Kacy and the person who originally got her on substance abuse were traveling, this traveling wasn’t for a vacation tho… they got caught, product lost, profits lost, and that in the midsts of all this “business”, kacy was “skimming off the top” and the people she worked for(Spokane Russian cartel) found out and they were not happy… that she owed them a lot… and they made her disappear and no one would ever find her…. So I freaked out a-bit inside and I made police report, I always check to see if there’s any news, I talk to people, I visit the places she used to frequent(my workplace and the casinos in Spokane) and I always look for her wherever I go. I always tell everyone I’m searching for her and I just want her home, no matter what that means. We miss her, we want our kacy home. She was corrupted, used, taken advantage of and then taken from us. We just want her home

@CGarcia94 mann..... I'm sitting here going through Kacy's facebook and my heart is breaking more and more. She had lots of love and seemed like a GREAT mother. I hate that this had to happen. Do you believe that those rumors you heard could hold any truth? Or just someone saying the worst thing they could think of? Your family is in my thoughts.

@CIngram23 Thank you. Kacy is greatly loved and was a Extraordinary mother, daughter and sister. I am not a person to believe the words being said because they are just that, just words and I need proof. I will not stop until she is home in my arms, or home in a box.. it hurts worse to not knowing then knowing. We all deserve her home to have closure.

Again all this is just rumors. None of it is actual fact. I don’t believe it and it’s stupid, I’d believe that someone that she knew and who I knew about could have done something to her. I know cause of a few things that were disclosed to me from kacy in 2018

Could you elaborate on in what way you think this is helping the case? It seems like Kacy was in trouble. Do you think this was the reason she went missing, because it seems to me the dates are not adding up to that conclusion.

Yes I do know about this and this was a case that she was charged with and she got it taken care of. I was able to do my own research on kacy and I know that on her personal record that she did in fact did get arrested, she did her time(which was not very long) then released, afterwords she did go to each one of her court hearings, paid her dues and left. After such was no other infractions after this

@alienfrommarsy I think sometimes an arrest record can be useful, being a motive for someone to going missing/of the grid. This could mean someone went missing on their own accord. If I understand @CGarcia94 right this particular record was settled way before Kacy went missing, so I don't think it's related/not the reason she went missing. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I hope she is ok wherever she is. I’m over in Spokane and always feel a certain way when I see people missing that are in Eastern WA and Idaho because this area is so small.

As it has been said that myself and my sister are Native American, I’ll be trying to attempt my sisters missing case be know as a MMIW to in hopes perhaps further in the future of support in her being found.

I feel so sorry for you nothing came of it. Even a call from LE without any news would be a nice gesture. I guess it makes you feel nobody really cares besides you. Were you able to contact people/groups who advocate for missing Native Americans?

Another update.

So I made a new phone call to the Salt Lake City fbi office that looks over Idaho departments and they gave me a city of Coeur d Alene number to contact or to go see then they directed me to the main fbi line to speak with someone. It took forever! I waited so long. My phone call duration it said on my phone was a hour and 11mins, a good portion of it was just waiting. When I was finally connected to someone I went through the whole process of explaining and when done, at the end I was told “thank you for all your information, i will document this and it will be placed into our database, also I am sorry but there is no guarantee that this will be investigated”. I ended the call and all I could do was sit at my computer and cry. I messaged the MMIW Facebook and informed them what I was told them what I was told and they were so supportive and told me.
“I am so sorry Caroline. We are going to get you some advocacy on this for sure. Since Couer d'Alene hasn't given you a case number one of the first things we need to do is call the tribal police again and get that information. From there I will request for her to be added into NamUs. We can also start going to the news media. With NamUs we can give a whole lot of detail, And it will be thorough information that a lot of police departments and organizations use”

This gave me a bit of a pick up and I am so grateful for the MMIW community. I’m hoping that I can also talk with a few people from my tribal council and try to contact the people who were the ones who present the 2019 Summary and Report on the Idaho Summit on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples (MMIP). I pray all my efforts will be somewhat successful.

I'm so grateful for the MMIW community too, for supporting you. Your sister's case demonstrates so good why they are needed so bad. I can't imagine how frustrating this all must be for you. Everything is taking so long. Getting the run around time and time again. It would be very good your sister will be in Namus. A petty authorities didn't enter her yet. It's such a useful database, why not use it?

I just wanted to wish you to find your sister Kacy, and get answers. Your sister has a warm, beautiful, vibrant smile. No one is judging people nowadays for being on drugs, in is an illness, and most feel very compassionate towards its victims.

Just a question, if you don’t mind. Your sister got off your radar shortly after COVID restrictions were introduced in WA. Do you know if she had a permanent place of living? If not, maybe it was an additional pressure, given the general situation at that time? And just in case - have the detectives checked hospital records, both in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene hospitals, they have a huge one in Coeur d'Alene? Understanding that your sister is young, but cross something obvious for April of 2020 off the list?

Best of luck, we, indeed, have so many Native American women vanish, it is incredibly sad.
