The family of a Belleville woman who has been missing since January 26 is asking for the public’s help to locate her.

Beverly J. Logan, 32, was last seen on Ross Lane, just south of Belleville in St. Clair Township. Family friend Chelsea Chapman said it is not like Logan to be away from her family without keeping in contact.

These notes are rather ominous, and all may be "red flags" IMO. However, there are many information gaps here.

The case involves Beverly living with a "male associate", plus a second man that Beverly "may have been with". We have no information about either of these men but I would hope LE has looked into both of them carefully for any signs of domestic violence or criminal activity.

The notes indicate the "man's rental car Beverly last drove is also missing", but does that mean the man who drives that car is also missing?

I wondered that too. It would be more helpful if LE would release a little more info about these men.

I Google mapped the 400 block of Ross Lane. There are only a few residences which are all located right across the street from a field. There are also lots of small wooded areas one could use to hide something or someone. Interesting to see what appears to be a blue Nissan Versa parked at the home located on 412 Ross Lane. Beverly's family will need lots of help but they really NEED to get some searches going around there. :( MOO

This is the most recent news I've seen regarding Beverly's disappearance.

Family hasn’t heard from missing Belleville woman since January

[...]

He said prior to the report, Logan had a residence on Ross Lane. Police have learned she was in Warrenton, Missouri, with a male friend.

Chief Fleshren said Logan was last in possession of a rented Blue Nissan Versa with Alabama license CH1006. He said police are actively working to find Logan and the friend.

County deputies report Logan went with a male friend to a house in Warrenton. Deputies said the people at the home confirmed that both Logan and the male friend were there.

"We're trying to obviously locate him as well, but he's not directly involved in anything at this point, so I don't really want to throw his name out there," said Cpt. Bruce Fleshren with the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office.

Fleshren said Logan left town in her blue Nissan Versa with Alabama license plates that read CH1006.

How does LE expect the public to help find Beverly if they're not given all the info necessary? How does LE know "he's not directly involved..." if they don't even know where Beverly and her male friend are and what happened to them?

@YaYa_521 , agreed. As you say, the public can't assist when we don't have many facts.

So far we don't have any information about this 'male friend', we don't know why they drove to Warrenton, nothing about the 'people at the home' or where Beverly and the 'male friend' may have gone after leaving this home.

IMO this is another case where LE knows more about this situation than they've released to the media and public so far.

One article says the car is rented, another says it's hers. If it is a rental, I thought the rental company could track and possibly disable it?

From what I am seeing here, the rental car belongs to Beverly's 'male associate'.

"Her parents said Beverly lives with a "male associate" in the 400 block of Ross Lane in the Belleville area. What's more, they say the man's rental car Beverly last drove is also missing."

Beverly’s parents filed a missing persons report with the local sheriff’s office on Feb. 13, according to the department. Sometime prior to the report being filed, the sheriff’s office said Beverly was at a residence on Ross Lane outside Belleville.

Officials later discovered that she also was previously in Warrenton, Missouri, with a “male friend.”

Very unfortunate situation here without question. However, we still don't know anything about the other people involved in this case. AFAIK the MSM reports continue to mention this "male associate" and "male friend" but so far we have no names or descriptions.

Beverly’s parents told KSDK-TV last week that their daughter lives with a “male associate” in the 400 block of Ross Lane in the Belleville area. Fleshren confirmed that the unnamed man’s rental car, a blue Nissan Versa, is also missing. The sheriff’s office said Beverly was last in possession of the rented vehicle, which has an Alabama license plate number CH1006.
[...]

If LE knows the license plate number of the rental car (blue Nissan Versa) belonging to the "male associate" then logically they should know the identity of the man who rented that car in the first place. For some reason they haven't released that information. IMO it's possible LE hasn't named this "male associate" as a POI, therefore they won't release his identity.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrested a wanted man after a standoff Thursday. Charles L. Story, 40, is currently sitting in jail with bonds from two active warrants out of the State of Illinois with bonds totaling $90,000.

Police were searching for Story to question him about the disappearance of Beverly J. Logan. She was reported missing in January from Belleville, Illinois. Police were able to determine that she made it to Warrenton, Missouri with a male friend. It is unclear what happened to her after that.

Story is also wanted in the state of Illinois and has a history of resisting arrest, threatening public officials, and aggravated battery. The man has three orders of protection against him and is registered in Illinois as a sexual predator.

Beautiful girl. I hope they finally get some answers.

Maybe Beverly's family will finally get answers to her whereabouts if Story is the "male friend" with whom she went to Warrenton, MO. Many of the comments under LE's FB post give me the impression he likely knows what happened to Beverly. :( It infuriates me that this RSO piece of work was even out on the streets?

Great job, Illinois...great job! MOO

Here's another article I found

So, I shouldn't assume anything, but I grew up probably 1-2 miles from where this girl lived. Park Rd. that runs parallel to Ross. and the highway, and then it turns. There are woods back there that were/are used for BMX competitions, a landfill, and soccer fields. If this guy in Warrenton was an associate of the roommate, have they been ruled out for involvement? Maybe that's who ditched the car? I need to get a look at the roommate. If the altercation happened here, I would be looking anywhere nearby. Further, there's a ton of wildlife so recovery might be hard. I hope they get some answers.

I don’t know whether or not this is the guy she went to Warrenton with, but (and I’m not sure whether it matters, but for clarity’s sake) I do not believe he is the roommate.

The press release says he is from Beardstown, which is nowhere remotely near Belleville. It’s like a 2 hour drive from there.
