Police are searching for a north suburban Waukegan man with Alzheimers who went missing Monday after he was last seen driving near Northeastern Illinois University on the Northwest Side.
Fidel Jiron, 73, was last seen driving a red 2002 Mazda four-door car at 3600 W. Foster Ave. near Northeastern Illinois University.
He was supposed to be driving to a relatives home near West Lawrence and North Francisco avenues, a police release said.
Jiron is considered a high-risk missing person, according to the release.
Jiron is described as 5-6, Hispanic, 220 pounds, with brown eyes, gray hair, and olive skin.
Anyone with information should contact Grand Central Area detectives at (312) 746-8365.
