My guess is that she was mad at the dad for not coming right home, instead he went out with friends. I'm with you seeker..when are people going to wake up and stop leaving thier kids with anybody that will take'em. Poor baby. Imo

Ya, that was my thought too. She is the girlfriend - not even wife - of the father. She is stuck at home all day with his child and he has the audacity to go out with friends. She was probably annoyed and then it built up to furious. Add a toddler who wants attention and it's a recipe for disaster.

Woman Gets 23 Years For Killing Baby Girl In 2012

A Roseland woman was sentenced to 23 years in prison Thursday for brutally beating to death her boyfriend’s toddler daughter.

Keisha Jones, 28, was found guilty of murder during a bench trial this spring by Judge William Lacy.
