Man, 42, missing from Belmont Gardens: police

A 42-year-old man was reported missing Sunday morning near his home in the Belmont Gardens neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

Jason Gil drove his vehicle about 1 p.m. Saturday away from his home in the 3000 block of North Kostner, according to a missing persons alert from Chicago police.

About 4 a.m. Sunday, his vehicle was found parked near his home, police said. But Gil had not returned.

Info is very scarce at the moment about this missing person, but it’s odd that his car was found parked near his home. Makes me think that whoever parked it there knew him. Wonder how they got home? Uber?

Also, the photo posted of Jason matches the description of what he was wearing on Saturday (white shirt, black tie). Was this photo taken on Saturday? Was he at a wedding, maybe?
