<<John was a citizen of the UK. Born in Rotherham, England, he was in the air force division of the British Navy. He lived in England, Canada (Edmonton, Alberta; Vancouver, B.C.,), Australia and the US (Chicago, IL.). He was issued a social security # in the USA that shows no movement past 1982. The SSA has no proof of death on file for John. The UK National Archives also confirmed that they could not find proof of death on file for John.
John's DOB is February 1, 1924.>>
<< A family friend, by the name of Effie, claims that she and John travelled to Chicago immediately after Thanksgiving, but the date is unknown. Effie said she remembered giving John $20 and left him in Chicago where he was planning on passing time in the Madison St. area. According to Effie, John was planning on completing work for a man named Joe soon after Thanksgiving. John never made it to Joe's and Joe never heard from John ever again. John was known as "The Englishman" in the places he frequented in downtown Chicago.>>
