I just looked at The Doe Network - Joe's profile lists that DNA/Dentals/and Fingerprints are Unknown if they are available for Comparision.

The John Doe in Colorado has both DNA and Dentals available.

Thank you for responding. Yes I have a photo, and I do believe he is wearing the jacket he was wearing when he came up missing.
His missing date is February 12, 1978. The date of 1981 was when we got another tip of where he might be buried, we meaning family went to that city police department and filed another report. Sadly they told us not much could be done.
This was such a heart ache for our mother and father. My father called FBI but nothing was done.

Bumping for Myra Myers. Has anyone from your family submitted to a DNA test? Is there any chance someone from your family would consider doing that? Hope your family can make some progress in finding out what happened to your brother.

I sent an email to the Chafee County Sheriff's office to see if they had done a previous comparison between Joseph and Chafee John Doe.

I received a call back over the weekend from the Chafee County Detective Bureau.(I was out of town so I didn't answer the call, I let it go to voicemail) He wanted more info about the possible match between Joseph and and the Chafee County John Doe found in 1981. I called him back today and had to leave a message. He said he also passed my info to the Colorado Bureau of Investigations to verify whether a comparison has been made between the two. Hoping I hear back soon.
