Chicago rapper Juice Wrld dead at 21 after suffering cardiac arrest at private hangar at Midway Airport, officials say

Juice Wrld, a young rapper from the Chicago area who recently signed with a major label, died Sunday morning after suffering cardiac arrest at a private hangar at Midway Airport, authorities said.

Paramedics were called to the hangar operated by Atlantic Aviation shortly after 2 a.m., according to Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford. The 21-year-old rapper, whose real name was Jarad Higgins, apparently had arrived at Midway on a private jet.

I read somewhere in the article that he started swallowing Percocet tablets he was carrying, but it’s DM so who knows for sure....

Drug addiction is a terrible scourge. Perhaps his premature death will at least have a positive impact on his fans, making them reconsider lifestyle choices. It's difficult at that age, though, as young males brains have only just developed enough to comprehend that staying alive is good and dying young is not.
