Police issue alert for missing man

Chicago police issued a missing person's alert today for a 26-year-old man who may be depressed after the loss of his job.

Kirk Flowers was last seen or heard from on May 8 and may be driving his red 2008 Dodge Charger sedan with an Illinois license plate number of A295353, police said.

He is described as African-American with a dark brown complexion, 5-feet-11 inches and 205 pounds, police said. He has a tattoo with the letters, DNA.

Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (312) 744-8266.

The body of a man that was shot multiple times, wrapped in a bed sheet and duct-taped was found Friday in the back of a car that belongs to a missing Rogers Park man.

May 16, 2010 (CHICAGO) (WLS) -- Police say the body found inside a car in the Edgewater neighborhood is that of a missing Chicago man.
