I do hope she just needed a break and will be ok. The fact that her vehicle remains missing is concerning me.

Missing Chicago Teacher May Need Medical Attention

She is being treated for mental health issues, but family members do not believe that she would go missing of her own volition. She was dedicated to her job and her students.

At timestamp 0:30, Linda's husband [Antwon Brown] says: "Something's up. She normally answers her phone when I call."

At timestamp 0:35, Linda's sister [Lisa Quintana] says: "She is in contact with Antwon [Linda's husband] all the time, no matter where she goes or what she's doing. He knows where she's at and what she's doing."

At timestamp 1:05, the Missing Person Poster (from The Reignited Project), gives Linda's height as 5'7". Her weight is 140 lbs.
This article update stated she was scheduled to return to work Monday after a leave of absence. Mystery after Chicago teacher vanishes on her way to acupuncture appointment

Yeah I quoted that above. That struck me too. It seems relevant as of now.

Wicker park was mentioned as the location she was headed but it is 23 miles away from her residence at 4553 S King Dr. She has differnt addresses but this one came back to her and her husband Antwon.. No wonder she was spotted at the 4550 S outh Martin it like right across the street from her! If heading north there are 2 or 3 clinics within a few miles radius. Be nice to know what clinic so you know what route... they could track her route through CCT. Safe looking area! A condo is what it looks like!

While a missing person alert from Chicago police describes Brown as being around 5 feet tall, the missing person flyer says she is 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing between 130-140 pounds with fair complexion. She was last seen wearing a long, puffy black coat and shiny UGG-style boots.

The above link is in the OP. Who gave the physical description to authorities?
Many reports say LB is 5 feet tall, unsure which height is the correct one..
''Chicago police said Linda Brown, 53, was last seen on Saturday in the area of the 4500 block of South Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
She is described as 5 feet tall, weighing 130 pounds, with brown eyes and hair, and has a fair complexion.''
'Police described Brown as white with a fair complexion, brown eyes and brown hair. She stands 5 feet tall and weighs 130 pounds. She may be in need of medical attention.'

9 AM Acupuncture Appointment

At 1:09 timestamp of the video, she had a 9 AM acupuncture appointment on Sat., Jan. 3, 2026.

At 1:16 timestamp of the video, Linda's sister [Lisa Quintana] is being interview by a reporter and she says: "I texted her again -- maybe around 2 O'clock -- and I still hadn't heard from her, so that's when we got in touch with Antwon Brown [Linda's husband] to say, you know, how's Linda doing today -- have you talked to her at all? And then, he was like, 'No. I was thinking maybe she was with you, and I haven't seen her.'"

So Antwon who is always in touch with her and knows where she is at all times, never pinged her when she wasn’t back from her appointment five hours later?

I was thinking the same thing. It’s not matching - you can’t say you know where your spouse is at all times and always in touch and then add the fine print that says oh, except the day she went missing.

Yeah and five hours later he tells her sister "I thought she was with you" from the man who knows where she is at all times.

Her car is also missing.

My first hunch is a car accident and she went into a ditch or water and the car is out of sight. Seems a bit unlikely that would go unnoticed on a Saturday morning in a populated area, though.

My next hunch is she left intentionally and am concerned about self-harm. Did she drive to a remote area on her own?

And there is the scenario that someone did harm to her. I'd like to know when she was last seen by someone other than husband. What were her last activities that can be confirmed before watching a movie at home?

I hope she needed a break and will let someone know.

“I’m broke down. I don’t know what to do. I’ve done everything,” Antwon said. “I’m talking to people, we’ve got people searching for her. I’m out of options.”

I'm still stuck on what she was last wearing. Did this family have a ring doorbell camera?

The fact that there isn't even confirmation of her in the car via video yet is also concerning. I wish someone would clarify that.

Thanks for the photos/links, @dotr !
From the 2nd pic., I think the height is 5'7" like one source said, otherwise her husband is quite short ?
Hope she's found safely .... but this case seems hinky.
Apologies if everything is above board and nothing questionable.
Just contrasting that he(hubby) always knows where she is except on the day she vanished after several hours he wondered if she was at her sister-in-laws' ?
Make it make sense.
Imo.

If she were planning on leaving, I'm sure she would have let her sister (Linda) know.

I tend to agree, but mental distress can make people do illogical things.

Here we go again.

This could go one of two ways at this point, IMO. Let’s hope it’s the other and Linda is found safe. It’s going on four days 😔
