Melinna Garcia: Streamwood police search for 'endangered' missing woman

Have you seen her? An endangered missing person alert has been issued for 45-year-old Melinna Garcia out of Chicago's northwest suburbs.

• Streamwood police are asking for help finding 45-year-old Melinna Garcia, who went missing Tuesday night.
• Garcia has a condition that places her in danger, authorities said.
• She was last seen driving a red Mazda6 with Illinois plates and may be near a park or forest preserve.

Streamwood police requested an Endangered Missing Person Advisory, which Illinois State Police activated late Tuesday.

I saw this yesterday. Without a middle name and with a very large Hispanic population in Chicago the surname Garcia is very common. I couldn't find anything on her outside of the missing reports. But I do not think the photo is current, she looks younger than 45 in my opinion.

On the positive side, though unconfirmed, there has been a report issued 22 hours ago through a local (non msm) news source that she was found safe. Waiting for msm or LE confirmation.

This looks like her on this FB age, from Chicago (graduated high school here), lives in Melrose Park, has an adorable young son. The current height/weight (5 foot 3 and 170 pounds) may mean she could look a little bit fuller in the face. Log into Facebook

No further comments anywhere on her being found. She's single, I haven't seen any particular postings from family this week.
