A Chicago woman who checked herself into a downtown hotel this weekend has gone missing, police said.

Renee Mc Elhaney, 48, checked into the hotel on the 300 block of North Michigan Avenue on Saturday.

Chicago Police said Mc Elhaney left the hotel at about 6 p.m., leaving her belongings in her room. She has not been seen since.

Mc Elhaney, who lives with her family on the 8500 block of West Gregory in Chicago, is described as a white woman with brown hair and eyes, standing 5-foot-7 and weighing about 140 pounds.

I live here and have never heard anything about this case. I wonder if her belongings left behind could provide any details. How bizarre that she just disappeared and it seems no one is even looking for her.
