Recovered/Located IL - Ronald Buecker, 50, car found in corn field, Pawnee, Sangamon Co., 7 Oct 2020

SANGAMON COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) - A search is underway for a missing man in Sangamon County.

The Sangamon County Sheriff's Office said 50-year-old Ronald R. Buecker was last heard from at about 1:45 a.m. Wednesday. His vehicle was located in a corn field in the 13300 block of Cotton Hill Road in Pawnee.

When he was last seen, deputies said Buecker had on a blue Illini polo shirt with an orange "I," along with blue jeans. He is 5-foot-10 in height and weighs about 230 pounds. He has blue eyes and a bald head.

Information should be reported to the Sangamon County Sheriff's Office by calling (217)753-6666.

Ron's FB. I'm not liking his cover photo and profile pic that were updated on 3 Oct. His profile shows he's from Springfield, IL which is about 30 mins NW of Pawnee. I can't explain it but his FB leaves me feeling something... I hope Ron is okay.

Um, is he making a white power hand gesture?! Is that an OK sign? A white power symbol? Or just a right-wing troll?

The only thing I associate that hand gesture with is a game where if you look at someone making it, they get to punch you in the arm. But I don’t doubt other meanings, just not aware of them myself.

and yes, some kind of feeling when looking at his Facebook cover photo is there for me too. So was the picture of him on the first post here. But I’m probably weird with my gut feelings and first impressions. Sometimes I just feel people in my gut and I’m gonna keep it at that on this one.

Found safe in Decatur.

Decatur Police said Buecker is OK.
