260 Year Sentence!

In separate hearings in two courts, Sharp was sentenced to 260 years in prison for what even his defense attorney called a “heinous” series of attacks on local girls and women.
Sharp - who also faces criminal charges in White County - was convicted of rape, child molesting, criminal deviate conduct and burglary resulting in bodily injury in early December by a Delaware Circuit Court 1 jury.
He later pleaded guilty to two other attacks.
Sharp’s victims ranged in age from 7 to 67.

Rapist Brent Sharp lost his appeals for a new trial in 2014 and 2015.

The Muncie man maintained he had received inadequate legal representation – from the attorneys who defended him at trial and prepared a later appeal. He also suggested authorities had improperly collected blood samples producing DNA results that linked Sharp to the local crimes.
