Found Safe IN - Charlene Lawrence, adult, went for a drive and got lost, Indianapolis, 16 Mar 2019 *dementia*

COMMUNITY MESSAGE: INDIANAPOLIS...Charlene Lawrence got into her bronze, 2001, 4dr Cadillac Deville (Indiana personalized plate “GOMSU”) and went for a drive at approximately 11:00am on Saturday morning, March 16, 2019. She was last heard from about 4:12pm, when her husband spoke with her on the phone and she was confused about where she was and she told her husband that she saw a sign for East 75th St. Detectives believe Charlene’s phone was last used in the area near Pittsboro, Indiana. Contact has since been lost with Ms. Lawrence.
Charlene is suffering the onset of dementia and beginning stages of alzheimers disease. She also needs heart medication and might be in need of medical attention when located.

Poor woman. This is very sad. Poor Husband too. Bet he's worried sick. I wonder if she had access to this car or maybe not and decided to drive anyway. It does say it's her car. Maybe she has been ok so far driving, but I'm worried about that alone. I'm sure they've checked the area where she said she was near when on the phone. Hopefully there are cameras in the area that can help find her.

It’s so difficult to take the keys away from a senior with dementia but it has to be done. That said, it might very well be that she took them from her husband without his knowledge.

Oh Yay! This is good news and not even a long time to ponder on where she might be. Thankful for good news. Now, someone hide those car keys. . IMO
