IMPD searching for missing man with autism

Police searching for missing Indianapolis man with autism

IMPD is looking for Erick Tolson, 25, of Indianapolis, who has autism. and has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old.
  • Police say he has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old but also that he is high functioning.
  • Erick is 5’8” tall, 165 pounds, bald with hazel eyes.
  • He has gone missing before in February of 2019 and August of 2018 and was found in downtown Indianapolis.
If you know where to find him, contact the IMPD Missing Persons Unit at (317) 327.6160 or call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at (317) 262.8477 or (TIPS).

  • Erick's legal guardian thought he was at another family member's house.
  • Last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans and gray Nike tennis shoes.
  • Each time he was found before, he was at the Circle Centre Mall downtown.

Per IMPD, Erick was last seen in the 400 block of North Bradley Avenue.
