Hedden’s husband reported that she had been missing and was last seen near the Indiana State University campus that day.
Two days later, on July 12, Hedden’s body was found in the Wabash River with both her hands and feet bound together.''

I’m hopeful but doubt that DNA would have been viable after the water and time gone by. I’m always thankful to see these solved and remain positive.

Gloria Hedden, a grad student at Indiana State University, was reported missing by her husband on July 10, 1980.

The sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post that she was last seen leaving ISU’s campus early that morning. Hedden’s body was unfortunately found two days later in the Wabash River, her hands and feet bound together.
