EMERGENCY ALERT: Police searching for missing 21-year-old woman

Allen County PD sent out an emergency alert Saturday evening regarding a missing woman.

That woman is identified to be 21-year-old Hayleigh Mix of Fort Wayne who is described to be 5'2 and about 104 pounds.

Mix was last seen Friday in the area of 7600 Pay Parkway in The Fort.

According to authorities, she is known to walk to libraries and office supply stores.

If you know where she is, you are ask to contact police.

Allen County PD investigating missing endangered adult in Fort Wayne | WANE 15

The Allen County Police Department sent an alert to phones saying that they are investigating a missing endangered adult named Hayleigh Mix.

According to police, she is a white female and was last seen on Friday, April 16th, in the area of 7600 Payne Parkway in Fort Wayne. She is 21 years old, 5 feet 2 and weighs 104 pounds. She is known to walk to libraries and office supply stores.

It seems a bit strange that they haven't released a photo or even just a description of hair colour and length etc. Any ideas why that might be?

Hmmm, wonder why no mention? Is her residence in or out of the Ft. Wayne city limits -- could jurisdiction be the reason? Looks like the County is handling, I think... ...or maybe not...
