A woman found dead on the Northside this morning is not likely to be a victim linked to a suspected serial killer, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Sgt. Matthew Mount said.
The woman appears to have died within the last day or so, Mount said. Illinois truck driver Bruce Mendenhall claimed to have killed six women in four states, including a woman he picked up at a Far Southside truck stop six days ago, police said.
