A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared.

The Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the disappearance of John Clayton Currin, an 89 year old black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 175 pounds, black hair with brown eyes, last seen wearing a black Air Force Veteran hat, tan windbreaker, brown pants, and driving a beige 2005 four door Chevy Silverado with Indiana license plate TK886LNK.

Siri Benhar Currin, an 82 year old Asian female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130 pounds, black hair with brown eyes, last seen wearing an off white jacket.

John and Siri are missing from Avon, Indiana which is 17 miles west of Indianapolis and was last seen on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11:30 am. They are believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

UPDATE: State police canceled the Silver Alert for a missing Avon couple Saturday morning. No other details have been released.

AVON, Ind. (WISH) — A Silver Alert has been issued for a man and woman missing from Avon.

John Clayton Currin, 89, and Siri Benhar Currin, 82, were last seen at 11:30 a.m. Friday and are believed to be in extreme danger or to require medical assistance.
