Hello!

Recently I had submitted a match that I thought could be plausible though I have not heard back yet on if it is positive or not.

838UFKS - Decedent was found in April 1984 in Kansas City, Kansas. The decomp state was between 1-6 months which matches when Kimberly went missing in September.

Her height and age matches Kimberly's, I would say they have some similar facial features, and the doe was found with lingerie which made me wonder if the doe was a prostitute. It seemed based on Kimberly's information that she had been involved in prostitution at different times and was last picked up at a truck stop in Arkansas.

I found it interesting that they mention on namus they believed the doe could possible have native american/asian/hispanic herirtage - even if Kimberly doesn't from the information on namus because one of the first things I noticed about her was that her features reminded me of a lot of young indigenous women here in Canada. Makes me think it could definitely be a possibility!

It's also worth noting that during this time period a lot of Indigenous people tried to "pass" for white or other less persecuted ethnicities at the time. A lot of "Italian" native people in my area, some of whom still don't admit it because it's what they've said for so long.

<<DOB: 08/23/1958

Description: Kimberly was 5'5 and between 115-125 pounds at the time of her disappearance. She has black hair and brown eyes. She may go by "Kim" or use the street names "Bad Beaver," "Rosanna" or "Rosie." She has a small tattoo of a rose on her hip and another unspecified tattoo on her shoulder. Her right eye has a distinctive keyhole pupil. She has scars on her shins and buttocks from chemical burns.

Tribal Information: Unknown. Sources list Kimberly as "white/Caucasian." Kimberly's appearance, nicknames, and last name indicate she may have Indigenous ancestry. It was not uncommon for Indigenous people living in urban settings to downplay their ancestry in order to "pass" as white. >>
