Not much was revealed earlier this month, but in the next post I'll include the update, which will show clothing and a bracelet. The shirt was donated to a local Goodwill in 2016, previous owner has been identified.

This is a hair north of Pierceton, IN, a rural area with lots of farms and a few industrial sites.

Witnesses reported that they were walking in the area and happened upon the unidentified remains. The Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office and crime scene investigators were requested to respond to the location. Utilizing state of the art technology, the scene was thoroughly processed and the surrounding area was searched for potential evidence.

It was April 2 when remains were found 300 yards off S.R. 13, just south of Old Road 30. Since, DNA analysis determined the remains were that of a male with black hair, approximately 5-foot-5.

Fingerprints and DNA samples have not been able to identify the man, though. It’s not clear how the man died.

On Thursday, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office released images of two shirts, and a bracelet. Both were found with the body, the sheriff’s office said.

Interesting about the DNA, I wonder what all they're doing with it.

Police released three images of two shirts located with the body as well as a bracelet.

The first shirt is a blue, small Vans brand long-sleeve shirt. The second shirt is a sleeveless Maple Grove black jersey.

Investigators were able to find the original owner of the jersey, who said he donated it to Goodwill in 2016.

Additional DNA genetic genealogy testing is in progress, but due to COVID-19 closures, the results are delayed.

I have a tendency to go through information like this like I'm analyzing the Zapruder Film of the Kennedy Assassination, but please bear with me:

Two questions not answered by this blurb:

1. Maple Grove what? School?

2. Which Goodwill? There's one along 30 near S.R. 15 in Warsaw, about 13 miles or so from where the remains were found.
