Henry County deputies were also able to verify that Lowe was not an employee at a local coffee shop as some had claimed, and never had been.

Lowe’s classmates interviewed by local police said she was very quiet about her personal life. One fellow student told police Lowe had paid her to pretend to be her manager at the coffee shop so her mother wouldn’t be suspicious, the media release said. Lowe was also allegedly in contact with a young man from the Carmel area.
