Police: Evansville mother faces felony charges after throwing child into Pack 'n Play

Alexandrea G. Ring, 20, was booked for charges of battery and neglect Tuesday after Evansville police said her daughter suffered 'severe' head trauma.

In a news release, the Evansville Police Department identified the woman as Alexandrea G. Ring. The incident that led police to Ring's home in the 1500 block of South Kentucky Avenue Tuesday came after Ring's daughter began to cry, which Ring later told detectives "set her off."
