Nancy Gillett was last seen Monday in Westfield and is believed to be in extreme danger. Gillett is 5’0″, 105 lbs., and has gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen driving a red 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse convertible with Indiana plate 228LXY.

The news here has been dominated by the fatal shooting of a sheriff's deputy in my little town on Friday.

JerseyGirl do you live in that area. My family does and looking at a map she likely took 151st or 146th over to St Vincent’s. With all the huge potholes in the road, I wonder if one caused her to lose control. I think my sister might drive the route with special attention to that. There doesn’t seem to be many ponds, accept for a large one on front of Thymes Grocery Store. So sad for the family.

Her son says he's worried because his mother wasn't acting normal the last time he saw her the day before she went missing. "When I left her she was frustrated and confused." She drives a red 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse with a black convertible top, Indiana plate 228LXY, similar to the one pictured below.

Body of missing Westfield woman discovered inside vehicle in retention pond

A missing Westfield woman was found inside her car in a retention pond Tuesday afternoon.

Officers discovered the body of 73-year-old Nancy Gillett after pulling the vehicle from the water near the intersection of 146th Street and Carey Road shortly before 3 p.m.
