Police found Sandra Henriquez, 32, in the early morning of Wednesday, March 12, after officers responded to a report that a vehicle had struck a pole, according to CBS 4, Indianapolis’ FOX 59 and Muncie newspaper The Star Press.

An affidavit viewed by The Star Press said the infant was allegedly covered in feces and urine and was described as "urgently cyanotic."

Reportedly weighing less than when they were born a few days earlier, the newborn — who was “blue in the hands, feet and around the mouth,” seemingly due to malnutrition — was rushed to a local hospital, along with the older child, according to court records cited by CBS 4, FOX 59 and The Star Press.

The baby was admitted to the hospital with a feeding tube, while the 1-year-old was reported to be in good health, aside from a very full diaper, the outlets reported.

The newborn reportedly had blue hands, blue feet and a blue mouth due to malnutrition. The newborn was also reported to have weighed less than when they were born a few days prior. The 1-year-old was reported to be in good health but with an extremely full diaper.

Authorities estimate that the babies were left alone from approximately 12:30 a.m. until approximately 2:31 p.m.

The neglected infants were not rescued until 14 hours after Sandra Henriquez, 32, left her home at 12.30am and drove to the Big Shots Pub in Muncie, Indiana.

Her little girls were only saved when neighbors called police saying they heard babies crying inside the home at 2.22pm.

In addition to leaving her very young children home alone for that period, officers found multiple open and empty alcohol containers scattered around the home, and a small dog locked in a crate with no food or water.

Here is Ms. Henriquez's FB Page which features lots of photos of the beautiful children she places such a low value on. Her toddler just turned 1 year old on February 27th. And the infant was a mere 9 days old when this deplorable mother made the decision to leave them both home alone for up to 14 hours so she could hit the bar (and then a pole) followed by jail.
