The Salem Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing individual, Mr. Robert Alan Bragman. (43 years old).
Mr. Bragman was last seen in the City of Salem on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
A recent photograph of Mr. Bragman has been provided to aid in identification.
At this time, the Salem Police Department is actively investigating his disappearance. At this time, investigators do not believe that Mr. Bragman left in a vehicle and is requesting any information that may assist in determining his whereabouts.
Anyone who has seen Mr. Bragman or has information relevant to this case is urged to contact the Salem Police Department at (812) 883-5100. All information will be treated with appropriate attention and confidentiality.

Search Effort Scheduled for Missing Person Robert Bragman
Salem, Indiana — On Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 10:00am, the Indiana United Search and Rescue Team, in cooperation with the Salem Police Department , and the family of Mr. Robert Bragman, will conduct an organized search effort in hopes of locating the missing Salem resident.
Volunteers wishing to assist in the search are asked to register at the Washington County Fairgrounds prior to deployment. Participants should wear appropriate outdoor clothing, including bright or high-visibility colors, to ensure safety during search operations.

Gamble said he was last seen wearing a gray/khaki/red tshirt, blue scrub pants, a brown jacket and a black backpack and potentially not have any shoes on.
He was last seen around the Veteran’s Memorial Bridge on South Main Street around 10am on Monday morning.
