Found this interesting but couldn't find much on it. The girlfriend is found burned to death, he is nowhere to be found. It appears he is thought to be a victim of foul play himself. Any thoughts or info?

Circumstances of Disappearance
In the early morning hours of September 5, 1988, the burned body of Rebecca Harvey was found in her boyfriend's burned home on Oak Grove Road in Washington, Indiana.
Evidence indicated that Ms. Harvey had been doused with gasoline and set ablaze.
Her boyfriend, Steven Hendricks was also reported missing and is believed to be a victim of foul play.

Steven Hendricks Family has been Praying for his where abouts since September 5 of 1988. He was only 22 years old when went missing.
I believe Rebecca Harvey's Murderer also killed Steven to Distract the Authorities Investigation into the wrong direction. By making sure Steven would not be found the Killer or Killers would create doubt in authorities minds as to his guilt or innocence.
In researching this I found that Body Shops in Indiana had been connected to auto theft rings connected to drug gangs in Chicago Illinois. A man who worked at a Clayton Indiana body shop remains missing also, but his woman was much later found in a welded Barrell. Steven Hendricks was working for a body shop when he also went missing.
Whether Auto Thefts, Drugs or Jealousy got Rebecca Harvey, Steven Hendricks or Tim and his woman killed....or an argument with a Man from a cemetery near their house, All the Family Wants is to give Steven a Christian Burial. Steven Hendricks Mom, Siblings and Family won't rest until this is resolved.

Details of Disappearance​

Hendricks was last seen at his home on Oak Grove Road in Washington, Indiana. He was with his 18-year-old live-in girlfriend, Rebecca Harvey, at the time. A photograph of Harvey is posted with this case summary.

During the early morning of September 5, 1988, Harvey's burned body was found on the bed inside their home. She had died as a result of the fire, which started underneath the bed, destroyed the bedroom and blistered the paint on Hendricks's car in the driveway. There was no sign of Hendricks at the scene and he has never been heard from again. Authorities classified the fire as arson.

Harvey had been living with Hendricks for only two weeks before her death. Hendricks is considered a possible suspect in the fire and Harvey's murder, but he is listed as a missing person and hasn't been charged with any crimes.

He never picked up his last paycheck at Craney's Body Shop where he worked, and he also left his tools behind there. Some other belongings of his, including his wallet, were left inside the burned house. Hendricks's boss describes him as a hard worker. He seemingly disappeared without a trace following the fire, and the circumstances of his disappearance are unclear.
