The Warrick County Sheriff's Office needs your help learning the identity of a woman who's remains were found near the intersection of Seven Hills and Wasson Roads in Elberfeld.

According to a post on the Office's Facebook page, the remains were found on Friday and appear to be of a Caucasian female. The most distinguishing marks are tattoos of an orange and a black frog with an Asian symbol in the center which they believe could mean "mom" or "mother."

If you have any information that may help investigators identify this individual, call the Sheriff's Office at either 812-897-6180 or 800-223-6374.

From the above link:

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - We are learning new developments after a woman was found dead in a field in Warrick County. Tonight we know that woman is Valarie Anne Ruark, 32.

Authorities have not said how she died or who may have killed her. Ruark’s body was found badly burned off a gravel road in a remote area last Friday.

Warrick County Sheriff Michael Wilder tells us they have 10 deputies actively working this case. He says they do not have a suspect, but he still does not believe that this was a random killing.

Meanwhile those close to Ruark tell me they cannot imagine anyone wanting to harm her.

“It’s so inhumane what they did to her and where they left her. That just blew my mind,” says friend Derek VanWormer.

Family and friends of Valerie Ruark are learning the worst has happened. The Boonville mother was last seen days before her body was found badly burned in a rural field.

“She’s one of those free spirits she’ll pop back up you know she always does. But yeah I mean it was like are you serious right now? I need you to repeat this information. I’m still grasping it,” says VanWormer.

The two men arrested in connection with the death of a Boonville woman have each been charged with murder.Anthony Wolfe Jr., 24, of Evansville, and Brian Baumgartner, 43, of Boonville, are accused of the murder of 32-year-old Valarie Ruark...

In 2014, Wolfe was sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to intimidation and criminal gang activity, both D felonies. He was charged with posting threats on social media to "shoot up" Harrison High School" in 2013. Wolfe was not a Harrison student at the time. He received 30 months on the two charges and an additional 18 months because at the time of the offense he was out on bond on an unrelated charge of residential entry.
