The DeKalb County sheriff's department is seeking the public's help in locating a missing 17-year-old.

William Spaulding was last seen about 9:30 a.m. today in the area of Carroll and Lima roads in Fort Wayne, the sheriff's department said in a statement. He may have been heading toward the Waterloo or Auburn areas.

Spaulding is 6 feet tall, 120 pounds, with brown hair, and was wearing blue jeans and a tank top with camouflage trim, the statement said.
