Silver Alert declared for 2-year-old Cambridge City girl

Police in Cambridge City have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 2-year-old girl last seen around 1 p.m. Sunday.

Zoey Dawn Nash is described as being 2 feet tall, weighing 40 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes, according to the Silver Alert. She may be with Jeffery Hancock, 34, described as being 6 feet tall, weighing 165 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He may be driving a 2001 dark green Pontiac Grand Am GT with Indiana plates 976RCJ.

Nash is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

I wonder why this isn't an Amber alert? It seems to meet the 4 main requirements for one.

*she has been taken
* She is a child
* it is said she is believed to be in "extreme danger"
* they have all the descriptive info and a full licences plate number.


Speculating ----> The only thing I can think of is that he still has partial custody or something, so it doesn't meet the full requirement ( the first one) of an abduction.?? <---- speculating
