ATLANTA -- The Army National Guard has lost one potential recruit after a string of obscenity laden e-mails from a Guard recruiter.

The e-mails started when Seth Miller, 26, responded to a classified ad for a Guard job.

Instead, he told WSB-TV Channel 2 Reporter Diana Davis, he was cursed at, insulted and demeaned for being a civilian.

The messages included the advice to "join the navy, stop doing drugs; then your mom might start thinking you're worth giving birth to," said Miller.

The Atlanta man said he saw an ad on line for the Guard.

He e-mailed asking if he'd be drug tested and have to shave his head.

Miller feels based on those questions, the recruiting assistant made some incorrect assumptions.

"He said 'Yeah you can't use drugs; get off the drugs,' automatically assuming that I'm a drug user just because I asked that question."

The e-mails got worse, telling Miller that he's not Army material. Calling him "a low life bottom feeding teenage punk. Give up kid, you’re not qualified to get in the Army. You’re a civilian; stupid civilians."
