Circumstances of Disappearance:
Lawlor went missing from Dublin on Thursday, 16th December 2004. He left his residence in Darndale at 6.30am to drive to a nearby shop to buy cigarettes and phone credit. He has never been seen again.
The red Citroen Saxo he was driving was found days later in a car park on the Forest Road in Swords, behind Dublin Airport. Officials believe Lawlor's disappearance and probable murder is linked to a dispute with a gang affiliated with one of the largest drug traffickers in the country. Lawlor is presumed deceased but his body has never been recovered.
