It is vital that all who want to partake in the searches with Oranmore Maree Coastal Search Unit should go to Calasanctius College, Oranmore, before the searches start. This is to ensure that each area will be covered by a team that is lead by a Team leader and that the safety of everyone involved is maintained. The safety of everyone involved is paramount.
It is essential to have a HI-VIZ JACKET, WELLIES, WATERPROOF CLOTHING and a STICK as we are searching on very challenging and wet terrain and it can get windy at times. The weather forecast is for cold days. Please wear enough layers to keep warm.
PLEASE HAVE THE ESSENTIAL PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
Stay safe at all times.
Searches usually take 2-3 hours. There will be refreshments provided on the day.
We would like to thank all that turned up for the searches over the last few weeks.
