Iran has targeted US forces in Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.

Bahrain has confirmed that the headquarters of the US Navy’s 5th Fleet has been targeted by a missile attack.

Qatar’s Defence Ministry is saying that an Iranian missile has been intercepted by the Patriot defence system.

A loud explosion has been reported from the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, Reuters news agency has reported.

Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE have closed their airspace.

Earlier, Iran’s IRGC has confirmed that it has launched missiles and drones towards Israel following the US-Israeli attacks.

The main thing I hope for here is limited casualties all around :(

ETA and also that this won't expand and draw in more countries into a much larger conflict.

Perhaps closer in time than in the next 5 years:

Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency has reported that an Israeli strike hit an elementary girl’s school in Minab, a city located in the Hormozgan province of southern Iran. It added that five students were killed.

At least one person has been killed in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, after several missiles launched from Iran were intercepted

A senseless war of choice, not a necessary war-- American men and women will die- for nothing.
Obama had a truce with Iran to ensure they would not be a nuclear threat: in his first term Trump terminated that agreement. Trump stated when he campaigned that America was involved in too many wars, including Iraq and how he would avoid doing the same.

Praying for the safety of the Israeli and American military, and I hope the people of Iran who have so long suffered under this regime will be able to live as free people.

I dont see any news stating that Israel formally declared war on Iran

I'm thinking of the poor innocent Iranians who will be killed and have already been killed by these attacks. It's all so senseless. Striking a school?!

I’m old enough to remember when the Shah fell and the Ayatollah took over.

I remember the American hostages who were held by Iran for 444 or so days.

Iran is a state sponsor of terror. Obama gave Iran billions of dollars and yet they’ve been working on nuclear capability all along.

The thousands of Iranian citizens who’ve been killed for protesting against the regime indicates to me how much the regular citizens want to be free.

I would say "Israel" is a state sponsor of terror.

Fingers crossed for those Israelis and Americans living under radical colonialist regimes who did not ask for this, do not benefit from it, and will be undoubtedly both less free and secure by their governments's performative war mongering. The most marginalized Iranians will suffer the greatest casualties for pure theatre, and to protect the aggressors's respective heads of state, both credibly accused of corruption, crimes against humanity, and undermining their countries's own democracy.

If only all three countries learned from and could emulate the Republic of Korea's recent example.

Middle countries appear to be the only current bulwark against this trend towards criminal, alien, unforced lunacy.

Bombing a school and killing kids does?

No it does not. But it is the Iranian regime which has tormented their people for generations now. War is ghastly but we and Israel are not the perpetrators.

Google: Iranian protest deaths for information about large number of innocent lives lost in Iran. The articles will tell you who is responsible for these deaths.
