100%.There’s just a complete lack of understanding as to how the US military operates.
The US military works exactly as any western military does; that's what makes us allies.

I can't speak for other branches because I have no firsthand knowledge, but I can speak for the Army, and it's been downsizing some MOS's and restructuring things for many years now. This happens over time, things evolve and it changes. I've been an Army wife for 27 years, so I've seen things change a lot both directions during that time. I've seen the massive increase in troops and the need to downsize once we were out of Afghanistan and Iraq. The military always adjusts and there is good and bad with that, but it isn't anything new to this administration, but for some reason it seems to get made into a headline as if it is Trumps personal choice to fire people. IMOYes
He cut 20% of 4 star generals
A purge of over a dozen top leaders including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, the vice chief head of Global strike command and the Air Force Special ops command as an example
I highly doubt he has any respect an it’s well known he had no experience
I do, what do you think on how many?Do you know how many Generals and Admirals Obama fired?
I thought we were talking about the undeclared war on Iran.Respectfully, that has nothing to do with what we’re talking about, which is military effectiveness.
sbm"The mission of Operation Epic Fury is laser-focused," Hegseth said today during a briefing at the Pentagon. ...
Blame anyone, blame Trump #1 for giving us this situationObama hasn’t been the president for almost 10 years. The Trump administration bombed Iran 3 days ago. I will never understand the constant need to bring up Obama, Biden, Hilary, Jimmy Carter every time there’s a discussion about current events happening under the Trump administration. All MOO.
Me tooGood for Spain. I wish Keir Starmer had a backbone.
He sounds gleeful, doesn't he? Imagine your son or daughter (if there are any left) is serving in a combat role and you hear your president say with a shrug that he has no yips about saying he'll put boots on the ground or warning there will be more casualties. Here's the latest
• Trump on Iran: President Donald Trump told CNN’s Jake Tapper the “big wave” is yet to come in the war with Iran. In separate remarks, Trump said Iran ignored his warnings over its nuclear program, and he did not rule out sending US troops to Iran if “necessary.”
• Pentagon briefs press: US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth called on Iranians to “take advantage” of the opportunity for regime change, even as he said the war was not about ousting the government in Tehran.
My son is currently there, so I don't have to imagine. There are plenty of sons and daughters "left" and they are giving it their all right now. Many heroes who are bravely defending American and ally bases and civilians in the middle east from Iran's missiles and one way attack drones. He's currently shooting down missiles that Iran is firing and he's very much in harm's way.He sounds gleeful, doesn't he? sbmFor nearly half a century, the Islamic Republic of Iran — the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism — has killed and maimed American citizens and service members through its own forces and proxy militias. More Americans have been killed by Iran than any other terrorist regime on Earth.
