"Police are actively searching for a missing man in eastern Kentucky.

According to the Russell Police Department, Jeffrey Mollett, 52, of Russell, has been missing for two days. Mollett is from the Russell Convalescent Home and left the facility for a walk Monday around 7 p.m. and never returned.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, gray pants, and white tennis shoes. Mollett is 5’10” tall, weighs 275 pounds with blonde shoulder-length hair."

"Russell Convalescent Home"? I wonder what kind of illness he has--since he is only 52?

"RUSSELL -- The man who had been reported missing for the last two days has been found deceased. Jeffery Mollett, 52, was confirmed deceased, according to the Greenup County Coroner's Office.

Greenup County E-911 reported "the Russell Police Department has canceled the search for Jeffery Mollett. Mr. Mollett has been located and further details will be released as they come available."

The Daily Independent will update as more information becomes available.

Jeffery Mollett was last seen leaving the facility for a walk on July 22 at approximately 7 p.m., according to Greenup County E-911. Jeffery Mollett was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, gray jean pants, and white tennis shoes. Jeffery Mollett is 5’10” 275 pounds with blonde shoulder length hair.

Edgar Mollett, father of Jeffery Mollett, said that he wants his son found safely and is pleading with the public for assistance. “He was seen in Russell last,” said Edgar Mollett. “He left his bicycle and all his stuff and he just disappeared.”

Jeffrey Mollett is on several medications including medication for depression. He has family located in Lawrence County Kentucky."

So it possible it was an accident or it is possible it was a suicide because of his depression.
