I am unable to find a news article pertaining to this BUT I have found a news article on FB from WSBTV Journalist Cody Alcorn in Atlanta.

"Jimmy Ramey, 31, of Seneca, South Carolina has been missing since Feb. 18, when he was last seen by family members.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing black sneakers, blue jeans, and a red T-shirt."

"Since his disappearance, law enforcement spotted his 2004 Chevy Colorado in Northeast Georgia.
On Thursday night, Feb. 20, an officer attempted to stop the truck as it entered Toccoa from South Carolina.
After following the vehicle for about a mile with their blue lights activated, the driver abruptly stopped and ran from the truck.
The person seen running from the truck was not Ramey. That person got away."

This is his FB

It seems misleading to me to describe the car as being seen "in NE Georgia," as if that isn't 30 minutes away. I guess locals reading the article know that.
Yes, the news reporter is originally from South Carolina, now in Georgia. He still reports on anything South Carolina or Georgia based but most readers in the area know Seneca is just over the Georgia border into SC.

Thanks! I forgot that Cody is local to that area since I follow him on cases throughout the country.

It's now being reported that the body found in Anderson Co, on Wednesday is that of Jimmy Ramey. Just read Cody's latest post.

"Missing Seneca, South Carolina man found shot to death in Anderson, South Carolina."

"Ramey was working for door dash at the time of his disappearance.
His phone was off as of 10 p.m. that night."

Deputies in Anderson County, South Carolina, are searching for an "armed and dangerous" suspect after a missing man was found dead.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office issued warrants for 18-year-old Daeshawn Marquize Wilson. Wilson is wanted for murder & possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
