Jonathan was last seen at a family gathering at Jacksonville Beach, Florida on June 11, 1968. Although police believe Jonathan drowned, witnesses saw him with his father at a snack bar and his mother believes he was abducted from outside that establishment.
In the late 1980s, a man claimed that he might be Jonathan. DNA testing proved he was not Jonathan, however. Jonathan's case is still unsolved.
