Jose was last seen riding his bicycle in New Haven, Connecticut on December 28, 2009. The same day he disappeared, a firefighter reported seeing a young man being pulled off a bicycle near the firehouse. The young man was pulled into a silver 1990s Ford Taurus by 3 men. The bicycle in the abduction was determined to be the one Jose was last seen riding.
